Bowls: Natural Edge Cherry

Have I mentioned that I can't get enough of natural edge pieces?

This natural edge cherry bowl is 7.5" in diameter and has a wall thickness of 1/4".

Great contrast between the sapwood and heartwood on this steep sided bowl. Natural edge pieces seem to get a lot of attention at any demonstrations I do. I prefer to think it's because it's a very interesting form to watch someone turn but most likely the people watching are just waiting to see me get pelted with dripping wet wood and bits of bark. ;)
